All four of the main Grand Tour venues are accessible by public transport, however the easiest way to visit The Grand Tour is by car, and we have prepared this map to help you find your way between the four sites.

Discount Rail Travel with East Midlands Trains

East Midlands Trains are offering discounted return rail travel from London St Pancras to our Grand Tour destinations: Nottingham (Nottingham Contemporary, The Harley Gallery); Chesterfield (Chatsworth); and Derby (Derby Museums).

Discount Taxis

If you are travelling to The Harley Gallery via The East Coast line to Retford (between London Kings Cross and Edinburgh) – we have negotiated an exclusive deal with Hincliffe’s Taxis in Retford for a one-way transfer between Retford Station and The Harley Gallery (approx 25 minutes) for £25.

Pay-as-you-go Car Hire

Nottingham City Council, in partnership with City Car Club, operate a pay-as-you-go car hire scheme.  The car club is a membership scheme that offers members of the public and local businesses use of a car on a pay-as-you-go basis aiming to reduce the reliance on ownership of cars in Nottingham whether for personal or business trips. Bridge Hill House and Visit England Tours

Visit England Tours and Birdge Hill House are also developing a private tour called “Celebrating the Grand Tour”. They propose it will run for both advertised seasons of 2015 and 2016.  The tour will consist of two tour days and three nights accommodation at Bridge Hill House our 5* guest house in Belper, Derbyshire.   It will be marketed at small groups from between 2 to 6 people, couples or small parties, but not specifically at families.  They will be treated as our personal guests at Bridge Hill House and will have a chauffeur guide for each tour day.
